Job Summary
Intern works in direct support of the SVP of Operations & Chief of Staff and Leadership Team, and is involved in general business activities, program deliveries, human resources tasks, and organizational projects. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing information, preparing and presenting findings to supervisor and staff; participating in operations, human resources, program, and service delivery processes; managing organizational projects; attending accounting and development meetings; coordinating outreach events for prospective interns, advisors, and partners. Desired outcomes include understanding U.S. and international business and cultural diversities, non-profit administration, business development, revenue management, program management, client service delivery, and Board governance; understanding human resources operations including recruitment and onboarding. Desired skills include business writing and interpersonal communications, knowledge of business practices and economic terms. Expectation: be on time, be present, be engaged; communicate, participate, support your team and the mission. Pay & schedule: $15/hour, plus $80 monthly parking stipend; office hours 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday; interns work an average of 20 hours/week fall/spring and 30 hours/week summer; hybrid work possible based on project needs.
