Job Summary
Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and Northside Hospital policies. Manage patient care for an assigned group while embodying values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment. Maintain licensure as an RN in Georgia in good standing and hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support. Work 7p-7a shifts on a rotating basis with weekend and on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must be available for 7p-7a work hours
- Must be available for rotating weekend shifts
- Must be available for on-call requirements
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.)
- other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
