Job Summary
Assist patrons in searching for, locating, and accessing library materials while guiding them through online collections, databases, and in-house printing services. Answer questions via email, phone, and in person, and check materials in and out for the AMDA community. Reshelve books, music scores, plays, and DVDs accurately to maintain a neat, clean, and organized environment. Complete other duties as assigned. This semester-to-semester role requires current AMDA enrollment with a 3.0 GPA and reports to the Library leadership team. Paid at minimum wage with schedules arranged around academic commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled AMDA student for the Fall 2026 semester
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic familiarity with library systems and online research tools
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and members of the AMDA community
- Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Must be enrolled for the Fall 2026 semester
