Fall 2026 Intern - IT Wafer Systems Automation

Job Summary
Identify and analyze manufacturing IT application issues, then design, develop, and test automated solutions using AI/ML and Agentic technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and managed service providers to gather requirements for the Wafer Mfg. Automation Platform projects and document high-priority automation opportunities. Support the delivery of training materials to increase end-user adoption of self-service options while monitoring and optimizing existing automated processes. Stay updated on emerging automation workflows to inform the platform transformation roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or a master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic programming skills, with knowledge of languages such as .Net/C#, Java, Angular, React, Python or JavaScript
- Basic understanding of process automation, scripting, or workflow tools
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud computing platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies (including emerging AI/ML tools) and methodologies quickly
- Ability to multi-task and demonstrate excellent problem solving
