Job Summary
Fall 2026 Income Security Intern at CBPP focuses on data collection and analysis, legislative tracking, and literature reviews related to TANF and income security policies. The role includes facilitating special projects and participating in coalition meetings and external events. Remote internship with US residency required; DC metro interns work a hybrid schedule with in-person days at the DC office. Work hours are 30-40 hours per week during Eastern Time business hours, with compensation tiers by student status (undergrad, graduate, etc.). Start: Sept 8, 2026; End: Dec 18, 2026. Compensation ranges by level (undergrad $18/hr to doctoral $22/hr); applicants must have work authorization for the U.S. and a U.S. Social Security number. Applicants should have strong research/analytical skills (Excel), interest in anti-poverty strategies, and a commitment to racial equity.
