Job Summary
Enter data into Case Management Software (LollyLaw) and other tracking systems while working directly with Immigration Staff to assist with case follow-ups and conduct administrative projects to support casework. Gain a deeper understanding of current U.S. immigration systems through training on applications, eligibility requirements, and filing procedures, while developing research skills to concisely summarize findings for workplace use. This unpaid, in-person internship is based at the City Heights office, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, for a current law student or recent graduate.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrolment in ABA accredited Law School, Graduate Program, Undergraduate Program or have received their bachelor's degree within the last year
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take direction (written and oral) and to complete tasks independently
- Must be punctual and dependable (regular attendance required)
- Prior customer service experience and/or the ability to work well with others of varied backgrounds
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Arabic, Burmese, Dari, Farsi, Karen, Pashto, Russian, Somali, Swahili, Ukrainian, or Vietnamese
