Job Summary
The Fall 2026 Human Resources Intern will support a small HR team with a variety of projects across benefits and pay, recruitment and onboarding, and personnel records management. Responsibilities include general administrative support, handling confidential information, maintaining data and employee records, processing new hire paperwork, tracking onboarding and offboarding checklists, and scheduling orientation, interviews, and departmental meetings. The role offers hands-on exposure to HR functions and opportunities to work on special projects in a collaborative setting, with a focus on organization, data integrity, and customer-service orientation. This internship is remote with a U.S. residency requirement; DC metro interns may hybridize with in-person days at the DC office. Compensation is hourly and varies by student status, with undergraduate interns receiving $18/hour, and graduate/doctorate levels ranging up to $21–$22/hour depending on progress toward degree requirements. Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in human resources, management, business administration, or related field; demonstrated interest in HR; ability to maintain confidentiality; strong organizational and communication skills; customer service mindset; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; ability to work independently and in a team; U.S. work authorization and Social Security number as of start date; international students welcome but no visa sponsorship; willingness to work 30-40 hours per week during ET business hours
