Job Summary
Fall 2026 Foods Management Internship at Dollywood Theme Park supports the successful operation of a food service location and includes coordinating administrative duties, leadership development, and QA responsibilities. Interns attend Leadership Development classes and weekly intern meetings, act as a quality assurance inspector for food, assist with staffing, labor management, scheduling, time keeping, and end-of-period P&L reviews, and contribute to cost analysis, guest-experience improvements, and project work across the Foods area. The program emphasizes applying coursework to practice, Start Fresh safety training, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, with opportunities to work at different Dollywood locations and to receive course credit where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be minimum eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be enrolled in a continuing education/college program
- Must have basic computer skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Able to pass a drug screen and background check
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: clear communication, problem solving, teamwork, adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must comply with all Health Dept., ServSafe, and Company regulations pertaining to Food Safety Handling Procedures
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to operate a Point-of-Sale System
- Must be enrolled in college program and able to complete program requirements
