Job Summary
Culinary Intern at Dollywood Theme Park will support kitchen operations across multiple sections (dishwashing, receiving, prep cook, line cook, baker) and perform administrative duties while participating in leadership development and intern meetings. Responsibilities include inventory management, cost analysis, labor scheduling, implementing menu improvements for profitability, ensuring food safety and Start Fresh compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes hands-on culinary experience, exposure to P&L considerations, and the opportunity to earn college credit while rotating through various park locations. Must be 18+, enrolled in college, and able to work a flexible schedule with on-site duties. Knowledge of ServSafe/food safety, strong communication, and willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be minimum eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be enrolled in a continuing education/college program
- Must have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles according to company policy. Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record
- Options to participate in background screening which includes criminal history and motor vehicle record check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and teamwork
- Must comply with Health Dept., ServSafe, and Company regulations pertaining to Food Safety Handling Procedures
Desired Qualifications
