Job Summary
Audit Associate at Baker Tilly delivering audit and other assurance services to clients as part of engagement teams. Responsibilities include proactively engaging with clients to gather information, performing substantive testing of balance sheets and income statements, testing internal controls and recommending improvements, and developing client service and technical accounting skills through on-the-job coaching and firm-wide training. Growth opportunities include entrepreneurial networking, strong client relationships, and a path toward advancing within a leading CPA advisory firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related degree with sufficient coursework to sit for the CPA exam
- Outstanding academic performance (preferred GPA 3.0+)
- Relevant internship, work experience, and/or involvement with a professional organization
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel
- Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving
- Organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
