Job Summary
Provide personalized academic, social, emotional, and developmental supports to educate students to high standards, aligned with Indiana College and Career Ready Standards. Collaborate with classroom teachers to support students academically, socially, and emotionally within the classroom setting; implement effective practices and theories; support retained Grade 3 students with Early Literacy Endorsement as applicable; for the 2026-2027 school year in Fort Wayne, Indiana, under FWCS/FWEA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- valid Indiana teaching license for assigned grade levels and/or subject areas
- Elementary Generalist K-6
- Indiana's Early Literacy Endorsement (or working toward) for retained Grade 3 students alignment
- 3-5 years of teaching experience with highly effective or effective evaluation rating
- ability to work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support students academically, socially, and emotionally
