Job Summary
Clean and maintain designated hotel areas, respond to guest requests, and perform thorough cleaning duties in guest rooms and back-of-house spaces. Document and resolve discrepant room issues with the Front Desk, report maintenance problems promptly, and communicate concerns to the next shift. Manage inventory of supplies, uphold departmental standards, and assist in laundry and breakfast departments. Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal guest service. Must be available to work weekends and possess a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be available to work weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Some previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
