Job Summary
RS I position in a Credit Union performing a broad range of member-transaction duties including receiving/disbursing funds, posting deposits and loan/VISA payments, transfers, money orders, cash advances, withdrawals, opening/maintaining accounts, and issuing temporary cards. Cross-trained to provide plastic card services (temporary cards, re-pinning, ordering new cards) and to balance cash drawers. Recommends additional products/services and participates in cross-selling (Investment Services, Mortgages, Autoland). Requires 1 year of related branch operations experience, High School or Equivalent education, and compliance training. This is an onsite role in Alaska with a defined pay scale and benefits package; the role emphasizes in-person, personalized service and needs-based referrals.
Required Qualifications
- 1-year related branch operations experience
- NMLS Registered
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- BSA, Regulation CC, D, E knowledge
- Comprehensive knowledge of deposit products and services
- Basic math skills for interest calculations
- Proficient PC and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of Internet/Intranet and SharePoint
- Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Compliance training completion
