Job Summary
As a Failure Analysis Technician at TSMC Arizona, you will perform precise failure analysis on semiconductor devices, operating advanced analytical tools and preparing samples for analysis. Responsibilities include operating Dual-Beam FIB for TEM sample preparation, collecting and organizing data, and assisting engineers with the development of analytical methods. This role requires a strong sense of reliability, the ability to work in a cleanroom environment, and adherence to safety protocols while handling chemicals. Successful candidates will possess an Associate's degree in a relevant field and demonstrate basic computer proficiency alongside effective interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A.A.S.) from a Science/Engineering/Technology program, or related field
- Basic PC skills (MS Windows OS and MS Office)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced working environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in TEM sample preparation for semiconductor devices in advanced process nodes (<28nm)
- TEM analysis experience/skill in HR-STEM imaging and EDS analysis
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility
- Ability and willingness to work any shift (day or night) in a compressed work week schedule
- Be able to work night and weekend shifts when assigned and work overtime if needed
