Job Summary
Senior Failure Analysis Engineer responsible for continuously improving test performance and equipment, troubleshooting complex issues, supporting equipment installation and changes, and providing technical guidance. Role involves implementing and validating testing equipment, developing manufacturing solutions, mentoring others, and ensuring documentation complies with quality standards across the Plexus manufacturing process for small to mid-size projects. Requires delivering effective communication with customers (internal and external), conducting data-driven analyses, and applying cross-discipline knowledge to drive process improvements and robust test capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years related experience or equivalent
- Strong analytical and statistical analysis skills; Statistical Process Control (SPC) software skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple phases/processes of the Manufacturing Process
- Lab tool/test/measurement equipment experience preferred
