Job Summary
Educator and researcher sought to teach a broad range of programs and audiences, with an 80% teaching and 20% research focus. Responsibilities include teaching in-person and virtual classes across diverse topics in Jewish life, Israel, and ethics; developing and sustaining an active research agenda within the Kogod Research Center; publishing essays and long-form pieces to inform Hartman curricula; representing the Institute publicly through writing, speaking, and media engagement; building a recognized voice aligned with the Institute’s mission; and traveling domestically (2 times per month around North America) and to Israel. Requires an advanced degree in Jewish Studies, Israel Studies, or a related field (ordained or academic), 5+ years of professional experience, ability to work in NY-based roles with frequent NY presence, and strong mentorship, collaboration, and communication skills. Required Qualifications
