Job Summary
Develop a high-impact applied research program in Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Systems, focusing on digital twins, predictive analytics, and intelligent control systems. Lead collaborative projects with manufacturing companies and logistics firms to translate research into deployable industrial solutions and prototypes. Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers while publishing in leading journals and prioritizing technology transfer. Establish long-term industry partnerships, contribute to executive education, and attract external funding from competitive grants.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Operations Research, or a closely related field
- experience in the development and implementation of AI-based solutions for industrial systems
- proven experience collaborating with industry partners and/or applied research laboratories
- ability to secure research funding and develop strategic industry partnerships
- strong written and oral communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)
- Development and application of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, digital twins, and intelligent control systems for manufacturing and supply chain operations
- AI-enabled decision-support systems for industrial and operational environments
- Digital twins for manufacturing plants, logistics networks, and supply chains
- Industrial data platforms, Internet of Things (IoT), and cyber-physical systems
- Predictive and prescriptive analytics for operations and supply chain management
