Job Summary
Inpatient attending on the liver service at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center with outpatient liver clinics at M Health Fairview Clinics and Surgery Center in Minneapolis; provide consultations and outreach; opportunity to develop a clinical research program; participate in academic missions of the Department of Medicine/Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition; teaching medical students, residents, and GI fellows; opportunities for CME and collaboration with specialists. The division emphasizes hepatology, transplantation, and advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS) within a nationally recognized program; role involves contributing to patient care, education, and research in a leading academic health system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency
- Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology Fellowship training programs
- Board certified in internal medicine
- Board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology by the ABIM
- Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in Minnesota
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from USCIS and maintain legal status
