Job Summary

Conduct patient care for lung cancer and thoracic/head & neck malignancies while educating medical students and house staff per Curriculum Committee assignments. Establish and maintain a scholarly program focused on understanding the causes, detection, and treatment of lung cancer. Participate in administrative committees and councils approved by the Chair and Division Head, and engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups. The role balances clinical, teaching, research, and inpatient service components. As a faculty member at OHSU's Knight Cancer Institute, you will contribute to early cancer detection and personalized medicine initiatives within a collaborative university environment.

Required Qualifications

  • MD OR MD/PhD
  • Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
  • Board certified in Internal Medicine
  • Board eligible/certified in Hematology and or/Medical Oncology

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven success working with multi-disciplinary teams
  • History of specialized training and clinical experience focused on the care of patients with thoracic malignancies, including lung and head & neck cancers
