Job Summary
Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient GI oncology care with a subspecialty focus in GI malignancies, participate in multidisciplinary GI tumor boards and disease-specific clinics (including telehealth), and develop/lead clinical trials and translational research aligned with academic interests. Collaborate with Masonic Cancer Center investigators, mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty, and contribute to scholarly activity through publications, presentations, and national scientific engagement. The Division supports a large regional referral population, active NIH/ASH training grants, and a strong commitment to building a nationally recognized GI cancer program; rank and career goals are tailored to the candidate’s background. The role is a dually employed clinical faculty position with a market-competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits, including substantial 401K contributions and professional fees support.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME fellowship-training program
- Board eligible/certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology/Oncology
- Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA
