Job Summary
Faculty Medical Investigator open-rank faculty clinical investigator position in the Division of Transplant and Cell Therapy/Hematological Malignancies at Loma Linda University. The role includes development of an academic, clinical research and patient-centered program in close collaboration with established basic and translational scientists, with opportunities for leadership. Teaching responsibilities involve oversight of residents, fellows, and mid-level providers during ambulatory and inpatient activities. The division focuses on novel therapies for hematological malignancies, including CAR-T, cell-based therapies, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, gene therapy, and autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation. The work is supported by the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit, dedicated clinic space and infusion centers, an inpatient unit, a cGMP and TCT laboratory, FACT-accredited program in pediatric autologous and allogeneic BMT, a tumor samples repository, and a new state-of-the-art Children’s Hospital building opened in 2021, all on the Medical School campus.
