Job Summary
Two full-time Infectious Diseases physician faculty positions at UT Tyler School of Medicine seeking MD/DO board-certified or eligible in ID to provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services, contribute to medical education and program development in areas including clinical operations, outpatient parenteral antibiotic therapy, infection prevention and control, antibiotic stewardship, HIV medicine, telehealth, medical education/training of students, residents and fellows, NTM clinic and TB public health. Rank at the faculty level is Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role supports clinical care, education, and program-building within a growing medical school in East Texas.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified/eligible in Infectious Diseases (American Board of Internal Medicine)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, education and/or research
