Job Summary
Lead the Headache Division as a clinician or clinician-scientist under Dr. Page B. Pennell and Dr. Robert Kaniecki, collaborating with neuroophthalmology, neurovestibular, psychiatry, and neurosurgical colleagues alongside the internationally recognized UPMC Concussion program. Manage a team of five adult and one pediatric board-certified physicians, three APPs, and one to two fellows annually. Utilize available clinical research foundational funds to support clinical, basic, data science, and translational studies within a department that received over $25 million in research support in FY25. Maintain board certification in Neurology and Headache Medicine with an unrestricted PA license, joining a faculty appointment that offers a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and six weeks of salary support for vacation and CME.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completed a Headache fellowship
- Board certified/eligible in Neurology
- Board certified/eligible in Headache Medicine
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
