Job Summary
Registered Nurse Instructor at Jersey College is responsible for clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites, creating a clinical environment that fosters student growth and guides professional development, preparing student progress and grade reports, maintaining attendance records, evaluating student competency based on program objectives, implementing evaluation devices to measure progress, attending faculty meetings, and maintaining professional qualifications through continuing education and academic courses. The role requires the ability to build relationships with students and coworkers, strong communication, organization, and the ability to supervise students in clinical settings, with a focus on delivering effective lessons for RN or PN students and applying nursing knowledge to student learning. Required Qualifications
- MSN Required;
- Valid State RN License Required
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required
