Job Summary
Lead the development and implementation of the Rural Track curriculum while collaborating with core faculty to meet ACGME requirements. Recruit, select, and onboard Rural Track residents, then supervise them in outpatient and community settings. Develop community partnerships to support rural health education and serve as a role model for full-spectrum family medicine in a rural environment. Support scholarly activity and foster resident projects relevant to rural health. This Associate Program Director role shapes the next generation of rural family physicians within Riverside Health's mission-driven, community-focused health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Eligible for or licensed to practice in Virginia
- current DEA registration
- Ability to practice full-spectrum family medicine
- Strong oral and written communication skills
