Job Summary
Family Medicine Faculty role focused on teaching and mentoring resident physicians in a community-based outpatient clinic and associated inpatient care at a flagship hospital. Preceptor responsibilities include guiding resident education, delivering evidence-based care, and supporting an Osteopathic-recognized residency program with both DO and MD faculty. The position emphasizes broad-spectrum family medicine, disease prevention and health maintenance, patient education, and a dedication to training highly skilled physicians within Riverside Medical Group’s academic mission. EPIC is used to integrate outpatient and inpatient workflows; compensation is salaried with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for CME, malpractice coverage, and professional growth in a collaborative, physician-led environment located in Newport News, VA.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required for Family Medicine Faculty
- experience in teaching or precepting residents welcomed
