Job Summary
Design and deliver engaging instruction that promotes academic achievement and personal growth for student-athletes. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that fosters active learning and self-discipline. Develop, administer, and analyze assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction. Differentiate resources to meet diverse learning needs while maintaining accurate records of grades and attendance. Communicate consistently with students, parents, and administrators regarding progress and achievements. Integrate technology and innovative strategies to enhance engagement. Collaborate with colleagues to support school initiatives and participate in professional learning. Model high standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions. Support school events and extracurricular activities. Adhere to all school policies and professional codes of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject area
- Strong classroom management skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to design and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of a diverse student population
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Technologically savvy
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
- Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time
- Ability to move around campus which includes gym, turf, fields, etc
- Requires a background check upon offer
- Requires a drug test upon offer
- This position requires a Florida Level 2 Background Screening
