Required Qualifications
- Faculty Cardiovascular Researcher at the Associate Professor or Professor level
- Mid-career clinician-scientist
- Demonstrated research productivity
- Active NIH (R-level) funding
- Balance approximately 70% clinical care and 30% research
- Focus on general cardiology
- Independent investigator-initiated research within cardiovascular medicine
- Participation in clinical trials, outcomes research, and translational studies
- Access to large-scale EMR, genomic, and phenotypic population datasets
- Opportunity to mentor junior faculty
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible in a Cardiology specialty
- Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or the ability to obtain an unrestricted license
- U.S. ACGME Residency
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Experience in conducting industry sponsored clinical research trials
