Job Summary
The Neurohospitalist at the University of Maryland will be responsible for clinical care of patients on neurology and stroke services, including inpatient care and emergency department consultations. The role requires a Doctorate in Medicine, 3-5 years of clinical experience, and relevant medical certifications. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills and experience promoting professionalism through various professional activities. A $10,000 signing bonus is offered.
Required Qualifications
- MD or MD/PhD degree
- 3-5 years of clinical experience
- CPR certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS and/or other relevant certification
- Board certification/eligibility in area of specialty
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Experience with neurocritical care and stroke teams
