Job Summary
Conduct high-quality instruction and training for PharmD students across didactic, skills-based, and experiential curricula while participating in continuous quality improvement activities. Deliver assessments, mentor students, and advise on professional development, including contributions to co-curricular programming and health promotion events. Maintain an active clinical practice site consistent with expertise in ambulatory care, inpatient general medicine, or acute care pharmacy practice. Engage in scholarship, serve on departmental and university committees, and collaborate collegially with faculty, staff, and administrators. Adhere to Touro University California policies, maintain accurate student records, and guarantee confidentiality of all information.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited institution
- Completion of a PGY1 residency, fellowship, or equivalent advanced clinical training required
- California pharmacist licensure or eligibility to obtain California pharmacist licensure
Desired Qualifications
- PGY2 residency training or equivalent advanced clinical experience
- Experience teaching at the professional student level
- Candidates with expertise in ambulatory care, inpatient general medicine, or acute care pharmacy practice are especially encouraged to apply
