Job Summary
Instruct and evaluate students in the Architecture area while maintaining accurate written records of student performance and attendance. Participate in the School assessment process, maintain office hours according to contractual guidelines, and complete necessary trainings including Information Security and Sexual Harassment. Attend school meetings as requested. Teach on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on campus. This part-time role requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, with a Master's preferred, and emphasizes interpersonal skills, sensitivity to diversity, and effective oral and written communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related discipline
- Relevant teaching experience at a postsecondary school level
- Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, faculty and the public
- Sensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, and staff
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written form
- Developed organizational skills
- Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Architecture or related discipline
- Coursework in or experience using technology in instruction
