Job Summary
The Miscellaneous Laborer (ML) is responsible for routine housekeeping and cleaning tasks, such as shoveling, sweeping, vacuuming, pressure washing, and removing garbage, to maintain safe and efficient operations at Southern Minnesota Beet Sugar Cooperative. The ML utilizes equipment like shovels, brooms, and forklifts, and must be respirator trained. Duties include cross-training, assisting in various positions, and performing tasks related to beet and sugar clean up. The role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a 12-hour shift
- Knowledge of safe operation procedures
- Familiarity with personal protective equipment
- Understanding of quality standards
- Completion of necessary training and Job Safety Analyses
