Job Summary
Complete scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment issues and perform timely repairs on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and valves. Repair and replace components, perform adjustments and calibrations using precision measuring tools, and assist with facility systems including HVAC and plumbing. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using a computerized maintenance management system. Partner with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve overall performance while following all safety procedures. This bilingual role requires 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and includes Monday–Friday hours with occasional Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience working on hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with electrical controls
- Basic PLC troubleshooting
- Experience using hand tools
- Experience using power tools
- Experience using welding equipment
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Ability to work in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to bend
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to climb
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work weekends
