Job Summary
Lead on-site technical support at customer factories, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical/process issues during commissioning and ramp-up. Drive implementation of practical solutions to meet performance targets while designing and improving hardware for prototype and industrial scale. Coordinate with machinery suppliers on upgrades and automation, ensuring alignment with internal engineering teams through regular interactions and travel to Switzerland. Maintain structured reporting on root cause analyses and corrective actions, then capture learnings to standardize solutions for future rollouts. Fluent in Spanish and English with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineer background
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Willingness to be based at customer site most of the time
- Willingness to travel to Switzerland

- Process / materials knowledge
- Experience in industrial environments, factory commissioning, or scale‐up projects
- German language skills
- Not afraid to get hands dirty
- Pragmatic, on‐site, solution‐oriented mindset
- Ability to independently design, procure and implement mechanical solutions, from concept to industrial deployment
- Competence in coordinating external suppliers and industrial service providers from specification through implementation
- Comfortable working with operators, engineers, and suppliers
