Factory Automation Engineering Intern

Engineering Intern at Bosch Rexroth responsible for providing technical expertise and support for Electrical Drives & Controls solutions. Responsibilities include understanding customer applications to propose optimized solutions, supporting the sales process through field visits and technical presentations, designing and proposing detailed system solutions (including component selection, system architecture, and performance calculations), assisting in contract negotiations with a clear scope and deliverables, preparing detailed technical quotations and documentation, ensuring accurate CRM/R-OBIN data entry, producing technical reports and performance analyses, and collaborating with sales, project management, and global product specialists to ensure effective project execution. Works with customers at multiple levels to diagnose technical challenges and identify opportunities for improvement, with additional duties as assigned. Education requirements specify current enrollment or recent graduation in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering/Technologist programs; ideal candidates have 1+ years of co-op/internship experience and proficiency in Electrical Drives, Motion Control, PLCs, C++, Linux, and REST API; SAP familiarity is a plus.
