Factory Automation Engineer

Job Summary
Lead and spearhead smart manufacturing initiatives by collaborating with internal teams and external System Integrators to conceptualize, design, and execute tooling automation projects that support NPI and POR initiatives. Oversee CAPEX tooling automation purchases, provide technical and quality leadership, manage risks and continuity plans, and drive Industry 4.0 innovations to develop a Smart Factory environment. Develop comprehensive project management plans from initiation to completion, monitor cash flow, and ensure automation tools are integrated, tested, and compliant with safety and industry standards. Requires cross-functional collaboration across geographies, travel to supplier and partner sites, and strong skills in project management, leadership, problem-solving, analytics, and advanced manufacturing knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technology or manufacturing-related engineering discipline

- willing to travel to Manufacturing Partner Sites, System Integrators, and supplier sites
- PMI PMP certification is a plus
