Job Summary
Direct the day-to-day clinical operations of the Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) program, including scheduling staff, leading organizational and treatment planning meetings, and coordinating participant admissions and support services with psychiatrists. Manage comprehensive assessments for each participant, oversee staff recruitment, hiring, orientation, and performance supervision, and develop the program budget. Supervise credible management by reviewing participant records, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with agency policies and Medicaid requirements. Conduct periodic service reviews, establish program policies, and maintain relationships with law enforcement, human services agencies, and community resources. Provide direct clinical treatment, perform on-call crisis intervention, and ensure all staff adhere to core values and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in a Behavioral Health Science, such as, psychology, mental health counseling, social work, art therapy or marriage and family therapy
- Minimum of three years' experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral health needs
- Prefer three years of supervisory experience
- Complete all PRC required trainings
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must meet Peace River Center's driving requirements with a minimum age of 25
- Must carry and maintain $25,000/$50,000 bodily injury coverage on personal vehicle and provide proof of coverage
- Must have a FL driver's license and clean driving record
- Department of Motor Vehicle Report must meet with the agency's insurance carrier's minimum qualifications
- Must maintain driver's qualifications through the active participation in the agency's DOT's Drug Testing Program
- Must be able to pass the agency's driving test
- Ability to lift 30 pounds, climb stairs, ambulate safely throughout the community

- Attends all scheduled work hours, meeting, training, and other center functions, including on-call as required
- Strong commitment to the right and ability of each person with a severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences; work in market jobs; and have access to helpful, adequate, competent, and continuous supports and services
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work with Team approach
- Skills and competence to establish supportive trusting relationships with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and respect for person's rights and personal preferences in treatment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Credible and Intranet, EHR
- Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations
- Must authorize the use of the Microsoft Authenticator app on your personal mobile device
