Job Summary
Process hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including organic, aqueous, solids, sludge, mercury, and heavy metals, while operating industrial processing equipment and managing container handling via palletizing, stacking, and labeling. Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, maintain waste inventory using the company's tracking software, and prepare waste documentation for regulatory and safety review. Operate forklifts and machinery safely, manage packaging guidelines, and requisition processing supplies. Initiate non-conformance and incident reporting, communicate with end facilities to solve complex issues, and recommend management actions to improve standard operating procedures. Work onsite between 5:30 am EST and 3:00 pm PST, lift 60 pounds regularly, and work flexible hours including overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Must be able to come on site between 5:30 am EST to 3:00 pm PST
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
- Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
- Personality conducive to teamwork
- Must be able to put on and take off personal protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior relevant industry experience
- Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification
- Forklift experience
- CDL preferred but not required
