Job Summary
The Facility Technician provides general maintenance support for the facility and machine tools, focusing on troubleshooting and repairing facility systems such as electrical, plumbing, and shop air systems. Responsibilities include maintaining records of activities, coordinating maintenance projects, ordering supplies, inspecting contractor work, and ensuring overall facility safety and cleanliness. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least three years of CNC machine maintenance experience, and strong problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, technical drawings, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to lift heavy components, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work overtime or on-call when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training in CNC maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and CNC control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, Haas)
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
