Facility Technician

Job Summary
Perform preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and utility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted operations. Operate and monitor facility infrastructure to maintain workplace conditions in accordance with manufacturing specifications and safety standards. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair systems while using the Computerized Maintenance Management System to record activities and support energy conservation initiatives. Serve as an assigned member of the factory's Emergency Response, First Aid, and Rescue Teams. Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and supervisors to support facility operations within Lumentum's manufacturing environment in Thailand.
Required Qualifications
- Higher Vocational Certificate, or higher qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or another related technical or engineering field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities operation and maintenance within a manufacturing or semiconductor environment
- Basic understanding of standards and requirements applicable to semiconductor manufacturing, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
- Basic knowledge of facility preventive-maintenance management systems, CMMS, and energy-conservation programs
- Understanding of facility equipment, utility systems, infrastructure, and workplace environmental-control requirements
- Ability to inspect equipment, identify abnormalities, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform maintenance activities safely
- Strong safety awareness and willingness to comply with company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Proactive, responsible, service-minded, and able to take ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and support operational requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge or experience in the operation and maintenance of: Cleanroom systems
- Working knowledge or experience in the operation and maintenance of: Pretreatment, Reverse Osmosis (RO), and Deionized (DI) water systems
- Working knowledge or experience in the operation and maintenance of: Clean Dry Air (CDA) systems
- Working knowledge or experience in the operation and maintenance of: Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control
- Working knowledge or experience in the operation and maintenance of: Main electrical power distribution systems and equipment
- Working knowledge or experience in the operation and maintenance of: Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Working knowledge or experience in the operation and maintenance of: Utility supply systems and supporting infrastructure
- Experience using CMMS or other facility maintenance-management systems
- Knowledge of energy conservation and Energy Management System requirements
- Experience supporting emergency response, first aid, or rescue activities in a factory environment
- Good documentation and basic computer skills
