Job Summary

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and pumps. Conduct routine inspections to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues while supporting regulatory compliance and operational uptime. Respond promptly to emergencies such as power outages, water leaks, and equipment failures to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records using the Computerized Maintenance Management System and collaborate with management on maintenance planning and KPI reviews. Assist with coordinating outside contractors and verify work areas are left clean and safe. Requires 3–5 years of experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building utility systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, equipment documentation, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Experience using common hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic instruments
  • Ability to perform basic electrical work involving lighting, receptacles, motors, and equipment controls
  • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, changing manufacturing environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout a work shift
  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • English language skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or related field
  • Familiarity with industrial ventilation and exhaust systems
  • Experience working in an ISO- and/or FDA-regulated manufacturing environment
  • OSHA certification
  • EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
  • Other relevant maintenance certifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish) language skills
