Facility Technician I

Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining building facades and interiors, including signage and hardscape. Duties include building, assembling, and installing new equipment; repairing plumbing, electrical systems, water pumps, air conditioning, irrigation, and fountains; assisting with amusement ride maintenance; ensuring compliance with safety regulations; and performing housekeeping tasks. Requires high school diploma or GED and five years of experience in electrical and mechanical systems repair. Must possess physical abilities to work at heights, in confined spaces, and handle heavy lifting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of five (5) years verifiable experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Ability to fabricate and repair using wood and commonly used building materials
- Ability to repair and maintain PVC and other commonly used domestic water piping
- Ability to operate fork-lifts and man-lifts
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management software
- Detailed knowledge of air conditioning equipment and ice makers
- Ability to use electrical and mechanical schematics during maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and present solutions
- Physical capacities for climbing, working at heights, confined spaces, and lifting up to 100 lbs
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, kneel, squat, stoop and twist
- Physical dexterity to operate hand tools
- Available to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work in various weather conditions
- Willing to work in a smoke, tobacco and drug-free workplace
Desired Qualifications
- NATE certification
- EPA 608 certification
