Job Summary
Facility Technician responsible for maintenance and repairs of buildings and related systems to prevent breakdowns. Performs general building maintenance (flooring, lighting, plumbing, carpentry, painting) and schedules preventative services (HVAC, plumbing, alarming, roof, landscaping, fire protection, lighting). Monitors facility maintenance contracts, collaborates on cost-reduction projects, supports ISO 9001 activities, and adheres to safety and environmental policies. This is a full-time role based in Mesquite, TX, with 12-hour day or night shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience in general facilities maintenance
- Completion of a Building Maintenance Technology diploma/certificate, or comparable program preferred
- HVAC Certification preferred
- Able to work on 12 hour day or night shift
- Good written and verbal communication skills
