Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for general maintenance and repair such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry, and building repairs; inspects facilities, maintains records of materials and hours, operates hand and power tools safely, follows FAA regulations and SMS procedures, and supports a safe, well-maintained work environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and follow technical documents, effective English communication, independent work capability, and valid AZ driver's license. Preferred 1–3 years in facilities maintenance or related trades in industrial/aviation settings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of general building maintenance, construction methods, and repair techniques
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to interpret technical documents, follow verbal and written instructions, and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Basic mathematical skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Arizona driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and maintenance equipment
