Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive facility cleaning duties including sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping floors and corridors, and washing windows. Determine necessary chemicals and equipment for specific tasks, provide MSDS documentation to EH&S, and maintain inventory by ordering supplies. Perform routine maintenance on housekeeping equipment, remove trash from entrances, exits, offices, and cubicles, and execute weekly outside sweeps to analyze the facility for issues. Assist with internal company event setup and tear down, vacuum carpets, and evaluate fire extinguishers monthly. Create and maintain daily and weekly cleaning schedules while identifying problems and determining appropriate remedies. Work a set, full-time schedule starting at $18.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 6 months of related experience
- Knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in cleaning activities
