Job Summary
Conduct scheduled and unannounced facility compliance inspections using agency and funder checklists to ensure organizational facilities remain compliant with federal, state, county, city, funder, licensing, accreditation, and agency requirements. Monitor adherence to Funders Facility Standards, ADA accessibility, OSHA, Fire Code, Public Health, and contractual obligations while maintaining a master inventory of licenses, permits, and expiration dates. Coordinate corrective action plans for deficiencies, prepare pre-audit readiness reviews, and submit required documentation to internal and external agencies including LAHSA, SAPC, DHS, and the Fire Department. Serve as the designated ADA Coordinator, ensuring accessibility standards are met across program operations. Perform quarterly Facility Review Checklists and provide technical assistance to program staff. Work in a hybrid office and field environment with frequent travel between sites, requiring regular attendance and occasional weekend or overtime monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Environmental Health, Construction Management or related field
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- three (3) years of experience in facilities compliance, regulatory inspections, quality assurance, risk management or related field
- Knowledge of LAHSA facility standards
- Knowledge of ADA Standards for Accessible Design
- Knowledge of OSHA
- Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety
- Knowledge of Public Health requirements
- Ability to read floor plans
- Ability to identify ADA and life-safety deficiencies
