Job Summary
Facility Specialist under the Maintenance HVAC Lead, participate in projects and day-to-day operations of repair, maintenance, coordination of contractors, security of the buildings and grounds. Involved in adjusting HVAC controls/systems and managing facility security system access controls; work with outside contractors for building/grounds services; monitor buildings and grounds for hazards and security issues; assist with purchasing goods/services and obtaining multiple bids; follow safety rules and keep work areas clean; fix unsafe conditions in a safe manner; serve as an active member of the Safety team with the EHS Specialist; manage plant waste materials including hazardous wastes per waste management requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities or maintenance
- Some engineering skills required
- Proven ability to work with vendors and contractors
- Computer skills required
- Detail Oriented with the ability to Multi-task
