Job Summary
Provide a welcoming environment for all visitors to Progressive Field while ensuring security measures and safety precautions. Responsibilities include conducting security screenings and bag inspections, performing security rounds and facility checks, reporting incidents, maintaining accurate logs, and utilizing security systems. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or G.E.D., and have a valid Ohio driver's license. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate reliability and possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Ohio driver’s license
- Demonstrates reliability, responsibility, and motivation towards all assigned duties
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, displaying excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to learn and retain a thorough understanding and knowledge of all areas within Progressive Field and relevant surrounding grounds
- Ability to perform under pressure and respond appropriately in stressful situations and emergency situations
- Maintains good physical and mental condition to be capable of performing foot patrol duties during all weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel
- Ability to learn and understand new technologies used at Progressive Field
- Ability to operate security-monitoring equipment and comprehend written security protocols
