Facility Security Officer/SCO

Job Summary
Conduct daily in-person security support and services for employees while ensuring compliance with security policies, managing emergency procedures, and supporting internal investigations. Coordinate with external vendors, process and maintain accurate personnel records, and lead completion of Business Resilience and Crisis Management documents including threat vulnerability assessments and tabletop drills. Monitor program operations efficiency, enforce regulations related to USG contracts, and interpret physical construction standards for restricted areas. Complete the DCSA FSO Program Management curriculum within six months of hire. This onsite position in Pueblo, CO, supports Collins Aerospace's Global Security Services team in safeguarding personnel, assets, and infrastructure aligned with government directives.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- University Degree
- Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced Degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience (for Advanced Degree)
- Experience in interpreting and implementing security requirements outlined in customer issued prime/subcontract DD-254 forms
- Experience conducting investigations – Insider Threat and Workplace Violence
- Working knowledge on managing an access control system (ACS)
- Working knowledge on managing a Camera Surveillance System (CSS)
- Working knowledge on managing an Intrusion Detection System (IDS)
- Experience with the National Industrial Security System (NISS)
- Experience with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Desired Qualifications
- Insider Threat Program Senior Officer (ITPSO) experience
- Experience with COMSEC account management
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework
