Job Summary
Investigate operational, reputational, or legal risks and conduct internal investigations, reviews, and compliance audits to resolve gaps. Lead the Public Services and Procurement Canada Contract Security Program by managing facility security clearances, safeguarding classified assets, and overseeing secure facility zones. Execute risk-based compliance monitoring and testing for anti-bribery controls, analyze results, and implement corrective actions. Advise on federal procurement contract requirements, support bid teams with security validation, and serve as the primary liaison with contracting authorities and oversight bodies. Develop industrial security policies, prepare for government inspections, and coordinate training for employees.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in Canadian federal contract compliance, procurement, or industrial security
- Strong working knowledge of PSPC Contract Security Program (CSP)
- Strong working knowledge of Supply Manual/ SACC Manual
- Experience managing personnel screenings and facility security clearances
- Holds or able to obtain a Secret Government of Canada security clearance with potential requirement of Top Secret
- Experience conducting monitoring and testing required
- Experience in conducting complex internal investigations yet being seen as a strong business partner to stakeholders throughout the business
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Law, Public Administration, Security Management, or related field strongly preferred
- Experience supporting international industrial security programs, federal government, defence, national security, aerospace, critical infrastructure, high security environments, and familiarity with the NISPOM and FAR
- Certifications such as CCAP, CPP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
- Experience with IT security standards (ITSG‐33, GC cyber requirements)
- Knowledge of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the United Kingdom Bribery Act, etc. and industry best practices strongly preferred
- Familiarity with requirements of a well-established Corporate Compliance Program
